The Reflective Practice Tool is designed to help Behaviour Support Practitioners systematically reflect on experiences from their practice, consider what influenced their decisions and identify learning to inform what they do next.

Using a structured reflective cycle, the tool includes PBS-specific prompts around person-centred practice, human rights, clinical decision-making, the PBS Capability Framework and professional development. It also includes space to identify actions or topics to take into supervision.

It can be used independently, as part of supervision, or following a challenging situation where you want to better understand what happened and what you might do differently next time.

The Caseload Manager is a practical tool for Behaviour Support Practitioners who want to better understand the demands of their current caseload and consider whether it is sustainable.

The PBS Capability Framework – Portfolio Assessment Report is a practical resource for Supervisors reviewing a Core or Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner’s portfolio against the PBS Capability Framework. It provides a structured way to work through the Capability Areas, record your assessment and organise feedback and development guidance for your supervisee.

It is designed as a practice-support tool for supervisors rather than an official NDIS Commission assessment document.

The Behaviour Support Plan: Quality Assessment Report is a practice-support tool for Behaviour Support Practitioners who want to critically review the quality of a Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP). It may be useful for practitioners reflecting on their own plans, supervisors supporting practitioner development, and practitioners developing their skills in reviewing and endorsing the work of others.

The report brings together key components from the NDIS Commission checklists for Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans and the BIP QEII quality evaluation tool, alongside prompts for professional reflection, a summary of findings and recommendations for improvement.
